Hi, I’m Karyn.

For more than 30 years, I’ve worked hands-on with antiques, vintage goods, collectibles, furniture, décor, memorabilia, and the changing resale market. My experience began in Chicago with a high-end antique furniture company, where I learned restoration and refinishing. Since then, I’ve managed an antique dealership, operated vintage booths, organized and sold at markets, refinished furniture professionally, and sold through eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, Whatnot, live auctions, and local markets.

Most importantly, I’ve stayed connected to what buyers want today. Something can be old without being valuable, sentimental without having market demand, or surprisingly desirable when it looks ordinary.

I created Legacy & Things to offer something between an estate-sale company, an organizer, and an appraiser: practical, independent guidance before decisions are made.

Together, we can decide what to keep, sell, donate, pass down, or research further—with no judgment and no pressure.
